Gave my Gim ,goa gd/pi on 4th march,2011 at around 8:30 slot from kolkata.

Gd topic:Honesty is not good for a person,straight trees get cut first.

Opening started with 1 minute of intro.Then the open house started.With such generalistic topic ,people leaped on arguing with points ranging from wikileaks,ramayana,mahabharata and all sort of stuff.
I Entered the gd three times excluding the opening part.Gave the idea about euthanasia killing, mickey and rocky balboa 's mentorship role and the fight betwwen clubber lang,wikileaks and produced some counter arguments who said honesty is only the best policy.
In gist my point was the circumstances,physchological factors should be taken into account and then a prudent decision shud be made and adapt according to the situation demands.(
Now the essay part started.Gave us 10 mins,unfortunately i did'nt finish but gave ample new points ranging from tata-corus market condition after recession,and indo pak war during indira gandhi's regime.
Concluded the gd and then summarized it by writing an essay.

M-Answered.I have never been good in qa,and thsi time xat was like

P2- Why is ur grad so low ?
M- sir not at all serious with my studies from my class 10.I tend to lose concentration .But all is past and i had my fair share of learnings and i hope to use it so that i do'nt reach that ebb again. I also pointed out that i was one of the performer with 68 % -2nd term and my ca marks.
P2- Are u working?
M-Nope,it's articleship.
P2- why haven't u filled your workex then
M-. Again explained that i'm not allowed to do so and told about the three year articleship thing.Seems he did'nt knew about it.
P2-Why Mba ?
M-Told about my short term and long term goals.And told about consultancy in Rural sector with some microfinance based touch on it. I did'nt knew tht he was a IRMA grad and i was screwed there like hell.Had to draw a business plan and later he stated i won't have any return there .
P2-What happened in Andhra Pradesh?
M-told about the default rates and the farmer suicide and the govt putting all the blame on the MFI.Also told about the regulations which Rbi is going to place.
P2-bank loan or Mfi loan generates greater return ? Which one
M-contradicted
P2-Which one among them is riskier?
M-Generally it is thought that Mfi is risky but itz not.They are less risky.Gave ex of grameen bank .
Left somewhat royally screwed.He is a hard nut.Nvr seems to agree with me

M-Told about Miachel chricton,Jack cussler,david baldacci stuffs.
P1- Tell me about the last book i read.
M- Told and fumbled..as i had read it 2 months back
P1-Do u Have any sort of inclination towards tech ?
M-Told about it in affirmative lines.Told about my interest in defence news and my posts in livefist,bharatrakshak and others.Told about movies and he asked whether i liked Tv which i said i did not.
P2-Meanwhile P2 is watching me with a stern face.. (kahan se yeh garbage ko bula liya re bhai !!)
P1-Okay So if i tell u that i have a seat for u in gim and we want u to join it.Wheter u will do it ?
M-(Jhooth mat bol....Acha chor ..chal bol hi dete hain...) Why not sir,i would join it for sure 100 % thumbs up from my side.

M-( Trap dal hi diya na..)..Gave an answer which i'm not satisfied with.Even he does'nt .

M-.Wished them and went out with confilcting thoughts. p.s.-No academic questions.Interview panel totally chilled out people and were very eager to make us feel comfy.
I wud rate my gd and essay good neglecting the fact that i did'nt complete .P2 told me they want to check our writing skills ,and creative writing on the subject ,and if i write half page of it.then itz good.No need to worry.
In case of Interview i won't rate myself properly.And as my acads suck,i have narrowed chances.Only saving grace is my profile.
